BIG SISTER BRIDAL-LOVE EDITION

Welcome to the February 2013 edition of BIG Sister Magazine.
Year 2012 was a very busy year for us at BIG Sister Magazine. It all started with some of our curvy sisters deciding to rebrand the looks of the curvy and plus size sisters with a clothing line to give them a classy look. It all started with Nollywood actress Adaora Ukoh launch Adaora Couture in Lekki, Lagos, then came the launch of JPKingdom by Temi-Aboderin Owoyemi at Terra Kulture, Ouma Tema, our South African sister marked the first anniversary of her clothing line Plus Fab  with the launch of  the Winter collections. Plus size pageantry was not left out as a new pageant Plus Size On the Runway Africa was held in Asaba, Delta State. Dr. Olubunmi Wilson had the 6th edition of Miss Big World Nigeria their 6th in Abuja.  Winnie Voke took a bold step with auditioning for her modeling agency for the plus size, Big Bold Models aka BBM and shortly after, was Cassy Jones-Mcbryde hosting her annual Fuller Woman Expo-Detroit. The most anticipated event finally came, the pre-launch and official launch of BIG SISTER Magazine, Africa’s premiere printed lifestyle magazine. JPKingdom had their in house sales party and the year ended on a merry note with the Unveiling of BBM and FBI models. All these events, we will bring you exclusive pictures in our next printed editions.

The month of February is kicking off year 2013 on a good note, two great events in the plus size industry in Nigeria, the search for the Face of Plus Size Diva on the 1st of February in Abuja and the official launching of Ibog plus size models, in Ikeja, Lagos.
